This Chardonnay is born in the hills of Sorni, planted directly into old gypsum quarries at the foot of the Dolomites. Growing vines in the same white mineral rock used for plaster gives the wine a specific, electric backbone. The stone provides a grip and a mineral intensity that defines the entire experience.

It’s a Riserva—fermented in wood and aged there for 12 months. That time in the barrel gives it a serious structure and deep texture, but the gypsum soil keeps the wine sharp and alive. You’ll find bright white flowers and a subtle balsamic note on the nose, all tied together by a mineral thread that runs through every sip. It’s the class of serious winemaking combined with the raw elegance of the mountains.

Pierluigi’s Note: This is a white wine with real presence and weight. It has the body to stand up to a creamy pasta sauces or roast chicken, but the acidity stays sharp enough for grilled fish or scallops. It’s the bottle I open when I want a quality white chardonnay. Serve at 10–12°C.

The De Vigili family has been tied to winemaking in Trentino since the 19th century. Though wars and hardship interrupted the story, the estate was rebuilt with determination and guided by a philosophy that values quality over size.

Today the winery is led by Francesco De Vigili, who has given new life to the family tradition with a bold and contemporary vision. The cellar is imagined not only as a place of production but as a space of inclusion and gathering, where wine, art, and the beauty of the Dolomites come together.

With an eye for detail and a respect for history, De Vigili continues to craft wines that reflect both the land and the spirit of those who tend it, offering bottles with authenticity, personality, and character.

In the heart of the Italian Alps, the landscape of Trentino is defined by the dramatic limestone peaks of the Dolomites. This is a land shaped by ancient glaciers and carved by the Adige and Noce rivers, resulting in a complex soil rich in sand, silt, and mineral-heavy pebbles. Whether grown on the sun-drenched floor of the Piana Rotaliana or along the rugged mountain slopes, every ingredient—from noble grapes to earthy botanicals—is fed by pure, mineral-rich mountain springs.

The climate here is a story of sharp contrasts. Cold alpine winds from the north meet warm, gentle currents rising from the valleys, creating dramatic temperature shifts between day and night. This "alpine clarity" is the secret behind the vibrant acidity and aromatic intensity found in the region's drinks. The result is a collection of mountain-born liquids that are precise, mineral, and undeniably alive—a true reflection of the Dolomites' untamed spirit.
